Gena Kriewaldt, R.T, MBA
Founder, President and CEO
Gena brings tremendous practical experience to the leadership team through an extensive career in the Radiologic Sciences. She started out as a technologist, and soon thereafter transitioned to Imaging Leadership, beginning as Coordinator of an Outpatient Imaging Center, to Manager of In/Out-patient Imaging Services, and finally to Director of Imaging at a major metropolitian hospital. After several years as Imaging Director, Gena decided to make her own ideas a reality as an entrepreneur. Her first business, the teleradiology company Study Overflow Solutions (or SOS) was co-founded in 2007 and then in late 2009, she co-founded RadTrac, Inc., an innovative joint venture that has developed software to track cumulative radiation dose by patient. Gena's interests include charitable activities and entrepreneurial opportunities focused on healthcare practice management and performance improvement. Gena received her B.S. and R. T. from Loma Linda University and her MBA from La Sierra University, and is currently working towards the completion of a doctoral degree.
Sean Johnston, M.D., Ph.D.
Co-founder, Chief Medical Officer
Sean received his M.D. and Ph.D. from Mayo Clinic, with the focus of his doctoral research being Transplant Immunology. He also completed a Surgical Fellowship while at Mayo. He completed his Internship at the University of California San Francisco-Fresno in Internal Medicine and went on to his Radiology Residency at the University of California Los Angeles.
During Residency, he received one of five nationwide educational scholarships from Bracco Diagnostics and was named one of their “Leaders on the Horizon”. He completed his Fellowship in Vascular/Interventional Radiology from UCLA, serving as Chief Fellow. Sean is currently a partner in a radiology group in Los Angeles, California, serves as Chief of Interventional Radiology at an acute care metropolitan teaching hospital and is also the primary MRI interpreter for a major Beverly Hills imaging center.
Sean also has extensive experience designing and building teleradiology systems for imaging and medical centers including implementation of digital dictation.
Doug Lainson, MBA
Executive Vice President and COO
Doug has an extensive background as an entrepreneur and executive in healthcare and technology. As former Director of Marketing at Loma Linda University Medical Center, he was responsible for launching the Critical Care Center and received an American Marketing Association award for the Circle of Care campaign. From Loma Linda, Doug went on to found and become managing partner of the Stratus Group, a strategic marketing company that worked with Loma Linda University Medical Center and Charter Hospitals, as well as high-tech companies like Xerox and Talon Software.
Doug earned his MBA from Biola University in strategy and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Economics & Management from Claremont Graduate University. Doug has founded or been active in a number of successful start-ups including TargetOne Technologies, Viacore and smplSolutions and was named Business Man of the Year in 2005. In 2006, he was invited to lead a symposium on American entrepreneurship in Soleftia, Sweden for business executives. Doug currently teaches regularly at several universities throughout Southern California in strategic management, entrepreneurship and leadership.
